David Crockett Autobiography

Crockett's autobiography is highly amusing, a quick read, and very telling about early 19th century life. Its style is said to be the type of narrative used by Mark Twain. It's available online at:

Note that only the first 17 chapters comprise the "authentic" autobiography.
